“Looking Back and Looking Ahead: Comments from Alumni after Completing the Period of Tenure-Track Faculty”
I have been exploring exotic phenomena by searching for new materials such as transition metal oxides and intermetallics using various synthesis techniques. My research is focused on macroscopic quantum phenomena such as a superconductivity and a quantum spin liquid in the strongly correlated electron systems. I intend to explore new superconductors, aiming at the future realization of a room temperature superconductivity, and to reveal the physical properties of spin liquid state as a ground state of geometrically frustrated magnets.
